to Online Volunteers Information System (OVIS).
OVIS offers Cross Participation Tracking information for the
hopping Volunteers. For CROs, it is recommended to check
the Volunteers before screening and each period checking.
Further CROs to block volunteers as they are dosed. This
system is a platform to exchange the data of the Volunteers
as provided by CROs.
DISCLAIMER
There has been false expectation about the role and responsibility of OVIS. This is to inform CROs and clarify the same.
Just as parameters like Volunteer's height, weight, temperature, etc., OVIS output is the 'Number of Days Over' from the Previous Participation of a Volunteer at a Clinical Study. This also is based on information provided by other CROs. OVIS work ends here.
OVIS does not provide ELIGIBILITY of a Volunteer for a study. Whether to dose a Volunteer or not - The Eligibility must be determined by CROs by various Physical, Pathological and Medical tests as per their SOPs . OVIS has no role or responsibility about volunteer's enrollment, health in a study or study quality.
